General

This series of Large Digital Displays have endless combinations for displaying important information on Production, Sales, Quality and Safety targets to employees and management alike with real-time data as it happens from the Plant Floor or Sales Offices in Commercial Establishments selling via the WEB only.

High visibility viewing with digit sizes from 2.3” (58mm) to 18” (457mm) ( see viewing distance chart ) as well as networking into Control Rooms and Management Offices via ‘ slave ‘ displays is easily achieved to ensure all relevant employees are keep fully informed.

Customised Displays

There are no standard Large Digit Production / Quality / Safety Displays and the customer customises the display to suit the application. The customer defines –

  1. Lettering / Legends
  2. Number of Display Lines
  3. Number of digits per line
  4. Height of Digits for viewing distance
  5. Master display and number of ‘ slave ‘ displays ( see Ethernet section below )

Input Options

Large Digit Production Display & Large Digit Quality Display – Typical Operation

The top line is set as a fixed value or can be advanced by a specific value at a specified time : Example Count by 1 every 10 seconds.

The middle line advances by one for every input signal received ( i.e. contact closure, limit switch, photo-cell, PLC output signal etc. ).

The bottom line internally calculates the difference between line 1 and 2 .

Large Digit Safety Display – Typical Operation

All three lines ( or more ) can be controlled using contact closure ( momentary switches, photo-cell etc ) or can be programmed serially via a PC. For example the middle line can increment by one every 24 hours automatically when a signal is received or can be incremented manually

Network Communications

All these Large Digit Displays can be networked using Ethernet and added to an existing network. Each display can be given and individual IP address and then accessed from anywhere in the plant, control room or offices.

Two Control Versions Available

Serial RS-485 All lines are addressable and data is sent via an RS-485 serial input
