Large Digit Counter Displays and Large Digit Totaliser Displays
These Large Digit Counter and Totaliser displays are highly flexible, rugged, highly visible and low cost. Available as 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 digits and in digit sizes from 2.3” (58mm) to 18” (457mm) depending on the viewing distance required. 65ft (20mtrs) up to 600ft (180mtrs).

These Large Digit Counters and Totalisers can count Up or Down from a PRESET figure ( BATCH ), set remotely or by thumbwheels located on the case. Count signals are entered via a terminal block mounted on the case and a manual Reset button is provided with the added facility to wire the Reset remotely away from the Counter itself. A SPCO relay can be provided for an output at the end of the Count. Battery backup is standard which will hold the count figure reached in the event of power loss and resume counting from that point when it is restored. Large Digital Batch Counters can be supplied in 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 digit format.

TAKT Counters ( Rate / Time )
TAKT Time - means the maximum time allowed to produce a product in order to meet customer demand. These Large Digit Counters display the pace or rate of manufacturing which is matched to the demand. TAKT time is used to align production time to demand where there are linked manufacturing processes, for example, advance by 3 every 10 seconds, advance 1 every 1 minute etc.
First, you calculate actual TAKT times for each product and part, then you use the time required for each product and part to determine the time that should be allotted to each actual process in the entire production chain. Counters can be supplied in 4, 6, 8, 12 digit format.
Rate Counters ( Speed )
These Large Digit Counters display belt speed, production line or any other device where speed is a concern. The Counter detects input impulses for rate per second, minute, hour or days.
These Large Digit Counters can be supplied to refresh the display every second, 10 seconds or 60 seconds, for example the Counter will count input pulses for one minute and display that accumulated count for one minute, refreshing every minute. Counters can be supplied in 4, 6, 8 , 12 digit format.
Large Digital Totalisers
Large Digit Totalisers are best suited to production output quantities, length, distance, time or anything that can be numerically related to a given operation that is critical. Totalisers are available as 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 digit format and do not give an output. Reset is standard with the facility to have a remote Reset mounted away from the Counter itself.
